What We Do

It shall be the mission of the Palatine Park Foundation to contribute to the health and well-being of Palatine Park District residents by providing scholarship opportunities to residents with financial limitations, by assisting in funding Park District capital projects, by funding projects and events that provide physical accessibility to all, and to preserve open space throughout the Park District.

The Palatine Park Foundation is a great avenue to make this legacy a reality through various means of pledging current or future assets through your will, estate, securities, real estate or retirement assets. Create a fundraiser for Palatine Park Foundation on Facebook and share it with supporters to encourage them to help you raise money for the organization. As the organizer, you can establish the fundraising goal, length of campaign, and a personalized wall message.

Legacy Tributes

The Legacy Tribute Program allows individuals to honor loved ones by planting a tree or placing a bench in a Palatine Park District Park. To submit a request, complete the Legacy Tribute Order Form. Choose your preferred park location and a park district employee will contact you within three business days to confirm the details. Tribute Trees are planted in the fall, and Tribute Benches are placed in the spring. The program offers a one-year guarantee on all trees and benches, with prices determined by location, labor, and materials. Visit our Legacy Tribute FAQ to learn more details about the program.
