Palatine Park District Offering Combined Fitness Membership and Group Classes Beginning March 29

Palatine Park District is combining fitness center memberships with the existing group exercise program to provide customers with a more holistic fitness experience. Starting March 29, each membership will include access to all fitness center amenities, as well as group exercise classes. The Basic Membership includes five group exercise classes per month, and the Premium Membership includes the five essential classes plus seven additional classes. Group classes offered include Yoga, Pilates, PIYO, Cycling, Tai Chi, TRX, and more.

“For those of you who may not be familiar with Palatine Park District’s fitness offerings, this will give you a taste of all we provide to meet your fitness and wellness needs,” said Recreation & Fitness Program Coordinator Alison Shariatzadeh. “We hope that you will try one of these options this year!” Learn more by visiting our Community Fitness Center Memberships page.

Community Fitness Center, located at 250 E. Wood Street, offers a traditional fitness environment for your workout. With a variety of cardiovascular equipment including treadmills, ellipticals and bikes along with resistance equipment and free weights, guests can fit in their workout in the heart of town. Rates for the fitness center are very affordable, ranging from $144 for an annual pass for students and seniors to just $296 for an annual pass for two family members. With weekday hours of 7:00am to 8:00pm and weekend hours from 8:00am to 12:00pm, members are sure to be able to find the time to get in a workout. Those interested that need a little motivation can always set up an appointment with one of our personal trainers or get started with a fitness assessment.
