Palatine Children's Chorus
The 150-voice Palatine Children’s Chorus will begin its 24th season this September. Our singers, ages 8 through 18 from the greater Palatine area enjoy a variety of musical opportunities in the Treble, Intermezzo, Concert, and Honors Choirs. The Chorus nurtures the natural abilities and interests of children who love to sing and stresses the importance of each individual as an important part of our entire ensemble. Our traveling choirs have performed at New York’s famed Carnegie Hall (1999), in Niagara Falls, Montreal, and Quebec in Canada (1997 and 2003), throughout Great Britain (2001), in Hawaii (2005), and in Austria and Venice (2007). We have also performed for the Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, at Lincoln Park Zoo, and at the Illinois State Fair as well as at many local Palatine-area venues. Our spring concerts will be held on April 28 and May 1 at Cutting Hall.
